Colleen DeJager, London ON


With 23 years in the Financial Services Industry, 17 of them as a Trust Officer, Colleen has acquired a broad range of expertise in will drafting, estate planning & administration, financial planning and relationship-building.   

Graduating from Western University in London Ontario, Colleen has completed the Professional Financial Planning course (PPFP), Canadian Securities course (CSC) and Canada Trust’s in-depth “Trust Officer Training Program”.  Colleen is a member of CAGP’s faculty as well as a member of STEP Canada (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners), and has served as Chair of the London Estate Planners Council where she continues to sit as a Director.

Colleen most recently spent 13 years at London Health Sciences Foundation.  As their Director of Planned and Memorial Giving, she oversaw the administration of the Foundation’s busy estate portfolio and developed a robust Planned Giving Program through public awareness, education, strategic planning and the cultivation and solicitation of planned gifts.    

Planned Giving and estate administration are Colleen’s passions and she wishes to continue impacting Canada’s charitable sector by helping encourage planned giving and assisting in the adjudication of estates as those expectancies become a reality.
