Ed Sluga, PGgrowth’s Program Director, is one of Canada's most experienced Planned Giving professionals. For over 15 years, he has helped hundreds of organizations from across the country develop and benefit from long-term, sustainable and proactive fundraising and Planned Giving programs. Focusing on developing organizational structures and operations so that they are positioned to experience success for the long-term, Ed's chief motivation is helping organizations achieve the goals of their mission within their communities.
With an unmatched perspective on the development and Planned Giving approaches available to organizations, Ed was the associate publisher of the industry-leading manual Planned Giving: Making it Happen written by the late Dr. Edward Pearce and Sherry Clodman, the editor of Canadian Gift Planning Journal, and the co-author of Worthy and Prepared.
Serving international, national, regional and local not-for-profits, Ed has also provided expertise and support in various areas of organizational development, major gift and fundraising. These include: strategic planning, organizational vision development, program creation and implementation, capacity audits and program building, action and marketing plans, professional advisor programs, marketing and communication strategies and implementation and development program audits.
