MARTHE C. THIBAUDEAU

Associate Consultant

Ville St Laurent, QC

Marthe C. Thibaudeau is an accomplished senior manager with decades of progressive experience working in all sectors – business, government and not-for-profit. After 25+ years working for the Apparel and Fashion Industry in merchandising, sourcing, purchasing, product development, sales, and production coordination in domestic and import operations, Marthe transitioned to the not-for-profit world.

Her role with KBF CANADA, a large international philanthropic network that brings together donors, philanthropists, and organizations, allowed her direct experience in engaging with philanthropic Canadians, giving her tremendous insight into the personal stories of generosity that lead donors to take action to make their community and their world a better place.

Marthe has a love of travel thanks to many years living abroad with her parents, accompanying them in their professional and personal journeys. She has been fortunate to live in Europe, North Africa, and the West Indies and her career regularly took her to Eastern Europe and Asia.

Marthe created the Gagnon-Thibaudeau Scholarship Fund with her aunt, a former Dean and professor emeritus at the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Montreal. The fund was created to honour her parents and provides scholarships to students in the Master’s, PhD and postdoctoral programs studying nursing care for the elderly and their families. Marthe also holds the position of donor representative in the Management Committee of the Research Chair in Nursing Care for Older People and their Families.

Marthe’s community minded efforts go beyond her work and generosity to not-for-profits. Believing that democracies do not work without people, she works in local returning offices for federal, provincial, municipal, and school elections as Supervisor – Revision of the Voters List, an essential part of the election process.
