With 23 years in the Financial Services Industry, 17 of them as a Trust Officer, Colleen has acquired a broad range of expertise in will drafting, estate planning & administration, financial planning and relationship-building.

As the former Director of Planned and Memorial Giving at one of Canada’s largest teaching hospitals, Colleen oversaw the administration of their Foundation’s busy estate portfolio, and developed a robust planned giving program through public awareness, education, strategic planning and the cultivation and solicitation of planned gifts.

A sought-after presenter, Colleen has developed and presented ADVOCIS-approved planned giving training sessions to several allied professional groups, and provides training to numerous professional groups including CFRE, The Canadian Association of Gift Planners (CAGP), The Masters of Library Science program at Western University and at other local and national conferences. Colleen also currently serves on the faculty of CAGP, educating fundraisers across Canada in various aspects of planned giving.

Planned giving and estate administration are Colleen’s passions and she wishes to continue impacting Canada’s charitable sector by helping encourage planned giving and assisting in the adjudication of estates as those expectancies become a reality.
