Grant Monck LL.B., Senior Counsel with PGgrowth, has over twenty-five years of experience as a board member, consultant and senior fundraiser. Grant has worked with community and hospital foundations, education, environmental, health, indigenous, religious and social service organizations across Canada. Areas of expertise include gift planning, major gift campaigns, government relations and overall strategic planning. Working with staff and volunteer teams has been key to his success.

After becoming a member of the law societies of British Columbia and Ontario, Grant’s fundraising career began in 1995 when he developed the planned giving program for the Canadian Cancer Society. Grant then headed the gift and estate planning program for the University of British Columbia. As a member of CAGP, Grant has held the positions of National Education Chair, National Government Relations Chair and Chair of the Greater Vancouver Chapter.

Grant has presented the CAGP Original Gift Planning course, Gift Planning Fundamentals course and spoken at National CAGP conferences since 1996. He was named a Friend of CAGP in 2016 for his advancement of strategic charitable giving on a national scale. Grant established a private consulting firm in 2014 based in Vancouver.
