Meghan Maack, MPNL, CFRE, is an experienced fundraising professional who has raised millions of dollars for a multitude of causes, including disability rights, social services, education, international development, and health care.
Meghan is currently the Campaign Manager at Perley Health in Ottawa, leading a five-year capital campaign to expand long-term care and affordable senior living. She is deeply passionate about connecting donors to the causes that matter most to them, helping individuals and families make meaningful, lasting impacts through philanthropy. Known for her relationship-centered approach, Meghan takes great joy in listening to donors’ stories, understanding their motivations, and helping them see their values brought to life through their philanthropic giving.
Her passion for gift planning began through the Canadian Association of Gift Planners (CAGP), where she completed the Original Gift Planning Course and attended national conferences that shaped her career. Meghan now serves on the CAGP Ottawa Chapter Board as Membership Co-Chair, contributing to a community that continues to inspire her.
Previously, Meghan worked at Carleton University, where she focused on legacy giving and earned her Master’s in Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership (MPNL). An active volunteer with ABLE2, Meghan supports people living with disabilities and mentors emerging fundraisers through CAGP and AFP. Outside of work, she’s an avid traveller and outdoor enthusiast who enjoys biking, hiking, and canoeing with her friends, family, and loyal dog, Olive.
