Neil Williams

Neil Williams has been a development professional since 1994, and is an experienced and innovative planned and major gifts officer. Neil is considered a leader and mentor in Calgary’s development community, having chaired the Calgary Chapter of the Canadian Association of Gift Planners and was a founding member of the committee that brought CAGP’s Leave A Legacy marketing program to Southern Alberta.  Neil has presented at AFP, CAGP and CASE conferences since 2007.

Neil’s passion is helping those new to planned giving cultivate the values-driven programs and broad skillset demanded by today’s ever more sophisticated donors, transforming traditional bequest-based programs by integrating cutting edge ideas, processes and programs.

Neil has managed planned giving programs at SAIT Polytechnic, Alberta Easter Seals and The Arthritis Society. In Calgary he has led major gifts and other programs for Renfrew Educational Services and The Canadian Cancer Society, as well as for the Kelowna General Hospital Foundation.
