The Strategic Philanthropy Seminar Series 2021–22: Leadership Series

Leadership in strategic philanthropy: Shifting from planned giving to gift planning

Leadership in fundraising requires us to meet the donor wherever they are present. Imagine the fundraising professional and the donor sitting together at the table, deep in conversation about establishing a meaningful asset-based gift.

To truly take your place at the table as a leader in fundraising, you will require the skills to move from planned giving to gift planning. These advanced level leadership skills will transform your planned giving program. It will enable you to be fully present and skillful in conversation with donors about their philanthropic intentions. Join PGgrowth’s industry experts as they walk you through both the soft and hard skills required to engage in true strategic philanthropy.

This series will be an advanced look into how the gift planner (and their organization) can move from straightforward gifts to more complex conversations. We will focus on how to work with the donor to use their assets to support both their families and the causes that they care about. You will have live access to three seminars held over the 2021–22 season, plus our resource library that includes the recording of each seminar, previous years’ seminars, and additional samples and templates.
